The country’s largest estate agencies have published their most recent financial results, and there are significant drops in UK residential sales revenue across the board.
By contrast, The Modern House has recorded a rise of 36% in the last six months.
Co-founder of The Modern House, Matt Gibberd, commented:
“By turning down almost as much work as we take on, we’re in the privileged position of representing the most exciting and beautiful homes on the market. Even in unstable economic and political conditions, the best properties will sell, often at a significant premium.
“Our editorial approach to sales – using magazine-quality photography, telling the story of a home through interviews and historical research, and creating provenance much like an auction house or art gallery would – has enabled us to provide a genuine point of difference within the industry.”
As September approaches, we’re encouraging potential sellers to take advantage of the autumn marketing window, which is traditionally the strongest of the year.
