Saltponds, Mousehole, Cornwall
Is there anything quite like being by the sea when the sun is high in the sky? After all, there’s little as appealing as blue waters paired with bluer skies. Mousehole in Cornwall plays host to this delightful seaside house, a carefully renovated fisherman’s cottage, where you can enjoy the tranquil coastal scenery and views of Mount’s Bay from the stone terrace. Spending long summer days in the park is a pastime many of us relish, and this exceptional house is located on the very edge of one of London’s most beloved green spaces, Hampstead Heath. It’s surrounded by wildlife and has views of the boating and swimming ponds, meaning a refreshing dip is never far away. Prefer a more secluded space to appreciate the sunshine? A private roof terrace with far-reaching views of the London skyline is an idyllic sunbathing situation. And at the top of this bright and spacious townhouse in Belsize Park, north London, designed by resident and acclaimed architect Rick Mather, you’ll discover exactly that.
